We also know the countless potential pitfalls that can assail any job, from unforeseen conditions to the stress that comes along with large, expensive projects. Because of what we know, we believe that ‘business as usual’ in our industry is unacceptable and we are working diligently every day to give our customers a better experience.

Massaro has three goals in mind when it comes to subcontractor relations:
- To prequalify every subcontractor we use so that our clients are getting the very best of the subcontracting community
- To improve our ability and increase opportunities to work with qualified MBE and DBE subcontracting firms
- To establish a dialog wherein we grade our subcontractors and offer them opportunities to improve while also giving them the chance to grade us.

The closeout and warranty process has been a thorn in project owners’ sides for far too long. As an industry, we have consistently underperformed in this regard. Massaro has developed and implemented a process and best practice protocol for project closeout. This process is tied to a number of business areas to improve accountability. We are tracking and analyzing warranty calls to improve our warranty response and we are actively engaging owners prior to their warranty expiration to see if there are items we can address before it expires. We are working every day to provide a better experience for our customers.
