An Enjoyable Construction Experience

Ribbon Cutting at Family House – University Place

In nearly 50 years of building projects big and small for amazingly diverse clients, we have learned a lot about what makes for an enjoyable construction experience. We also know the countless potential pitfalls that can assail any job, from unforeseen conditions to the stress that comes along with large, expensive projects. Because of what we know, we believe that ‘business as usual’ in our industry is unacceptable and we are working diligently every day to give our customers a better experience.

We know that an enjoyable experience starts and ends with our people. There is nothing our staff cannot accomplish given the right resources and support. The willingness of our people to work hard and do what is right has consistently led to superior results for our clients. In addition to working hard every day, our people are also constantly working to improve the way we do business. With innovative techniques, new technologies, and other forces shaping and modernizing our industry, the following are just a few ways that Massaro is moving our industry forward:

Customer Satisfaction

We are nothing without our customers. Our customers put their faith in us to deliver cost-effective, functional, and beautifully crafted space that will serve their needs for years to come. We are committed to ensuring that this level of trust is never neglected, and that our customers’ voices are heard and needs are met and surpassed throughout construction. Please read more about how we create loyal customers by clicking here.

Massaro has three goals in mind when it comes to subcontractor relations:

  • To prequalify every subcontractor we use so that our clients are getting the very best of the subcontracting community
  • To improve our ability and increase opportunities to work with qualified MBE and DBE subcontracting firms
  • To establish a dialog wherein we grade our subcontractors and offer them opportunities to improve while also giving them the chance to grade us.

We want to work with the best subcontractors and we want to be the best contractor that our subs work for. Read more about how we are working to be The Benchmark.

Project Closeout

The closeout and warranty process has been a thorn in project owners’ sides for far too long. As an industry, we have consistently underperformed in this regard. Massaro has developed and implemented a process and best practice protocol for project closeout. This process is tied to a number of business areas to improve accountability. We are tracking and analyzing warranty calls to improve our warranty response and we are actively engaging owners prior to their warranty expiration to see if there are items we can address before it expires. We are working every day to provide a better experience for our customers.
